In our quest to connect with the context in this huge and flat land, we ironically found the solution in being isolated from it. The ground level of the land was 4.5 meters below the natural ground, and social facilities were positioned at this level. It aimed for residents to spend their break time isolated from the industrial zone and surrounded by nature instead of spending 10 hours a day looking at the factories.

The 55-meter-long glass office blocks were perpendicular to the concrete deck above the ground, defining new passages and courtyards. Semi-public/public recreation and walking areas were connected in these areas, and pedestrian paths were created.

A new axis was created by continuing two existing vehicle roads in the surrounding texture, dividing the land in the middle. Trade functions were positioned on the periphery of this axis. Social facilities such as restaurants/cafes were located close to green-related walking areas.

The basement floor was exposed in places, and open areas specifically for offices were created. The concrete deck, which remained at zero elevation and was traced throughout the project, was projected as a green roof, representing the old natural ground. Also it is aimed with the gaps opened on the roof, letting the natural light in and the light spots define large and small squares/pauses.

The traces of the soil were preserved on the facade and ground, and soil-based materials were preferred. The indoor areas in the northeast of the land were terminated, and this area was left to the landscape. The continuity of the walking area was aimed at by continuing the traces of the office blocks with water.
